Welcome to Attachments! It's been a long time coming, a true labor of love. Eight years ago my life changed dramatically - I became a mother, a giver of life, a nurturer of spirit. A one-time career woman became a completely different animal, one who couldn't leave her precious child to go to the bathroom, let alone walk out the door to go to work. Gears changed, ideas became flexible, schedules were rearranged, and life went on - much richer and completely exhausting. As my life changed so did my art. Trained as a fine art photographer, my subjects became less about landscapes and more about what was truly important to me, my children, and their environment.
Attachment parenting became a very important issue for me along with all the little details that form to make it's definition. I became an advocate, a devotee, and a strong spokeswoman for it's ideals.
This is a home-based business, with the exception of the book collection and one rubber stamp, and stamp pads, every items offered comes from the hands of like-minded mothers. If we support each other in our endeavors, we;ll just get stronger and stronger and our message will be heard. I also believe strongly in reusing our resources so we don't waste anymore space on mother earth. Packaging is reused and recycled, and this catalog is printed on recycled paper with soy ink. Fifty percent of our paper products are made from recycled stock.
In this little catalog you will find some of my favorite things: notecards that help spread the word and make me smile at the same time, books I'm proud to read to my children, items that support and pass the attachment ideal on to others. I hope that you enjoy this offering as much as I enjoyed creating it.
