Back in the day, oh 1996 or so, when I was planning this endeavor; one of the tasks I wanted to accomplish was to come up with a list of children's books that showed breastfeeding. My kids really couldn't identify with illustrations or photos of children being fed from bottles. I'd run into books now and then, and LLLI had a few titles, but I really wanted to have a comprehensive library of books for my children that represented our life. I also searched for books that portrayed the family bed, baby wearing, and home birth. In developing this catalog I carried quite a few books over the years; some that are now out of print, but are still exciting to find at a used book store, or a yard sale. I've gone over past titles both in print and out and have compiled a list here for you. I will continue to add to it as I remember more, or if you remind me. All of these books depict breastfeeding in one way or another. Please share this list with others.
